TV Quickie

Some random thoughts on the week in TV:

Pushing Daisies - My new favorite show. Brings to mind my lost love Dead Like Me. Lee Pace is much cuter than a) the guy in Reaper b) the guy in Moonlight and c) the guy in Chuck. Also, I want legs as good as Swoosie Kurtz when I'm 63. Hell, I want legs as nice as hers now!

Reaper - The chubby sidekick is really really getting on my nerves.

America's Next Top Model - The model wannabes walk in straitjackets and climb rocks. The girl with the perfect ears goes home. Bianca is still a bitch.

Carpoolers - Couldn't even get through it. I'm sure Dilbert and his dog enjoy it, though. Polled some male friends only to find out men don't care about men problems in the same way women do. This is not a surprise but between this and Big Shots I wasn't quite sure.

Gossip Girl - Blake Lively looks older and older with each passing minute, unfortunately, as social climbing with Upper East Side snots gets more and more boring with each passing minute.

Ugly Betty - I'm not sure where they're headed this season or if I like it. Still, heartstrings were tugged. Chinese Cresteds really freak me out, though.

30 Rock - Funny as ever. MILF Island = hilarious. Bit disturbed by the wedding dress that cost $4,000 at 40% off. Isn't it sad that's the main thing I took from the show? I just - I mean - you wear it for one day! Of course, this is from the person whose wedding dress is sitting in a plastic bag somewhere.

Regular posting in the form of konichiwa and politics resumes this weekend. More LP Questionnaires next week!
